Leslie and I say thank you to all individuals, organizations, and churches who have continued to partner with Water for the Oppressed. The past sixteen months of our lives have been similar to a roller coaster ride, but in recent months we sense our lives are somewhat back to normal. The Lord has blessed us with numerous opportunities to visit local churches and share the ups and downs of life on the mission field. We simply share the story of how the Lord called regular people to serve Him by providing clean water to the people of Zambia.

In 2012, Water for the Oppressed has a goal of providing water to 45 villages in Zambia, Africa. We hope to reach 30 villages through repairing existing hand pumps which are currently broken. The hand pump repairs will enable broken boreholes to once again provide clean drinking water for local villages. In addition to the hand pump repairs, we have a goal to drill 15 new water wells in villages which have limited or no access to clean drinking water.

Leslie and I covet your prayers as we plan our return to Zambia very soon. Please be in prayer for the following: Equipment issues in Zambia which need to be sorted out before we can resume field work, CW's health as he returns to Zambia for the first time since his illness, the people of Zambia, various ministry programs, safety for the in-country staff, continued support (prayer/financial) for water wells/hand pumps/biblical literature etc.

We would welcome an opportunity to visit your church or civic group and share the Zambia work. In order to speak with us about scheduling a visit please refer to our contact numbers listed under "Contact" at the top of this page. Thanks to everyone.
